One Day On The Job Training For Seventeen Local Students

On Thursday, 23rd August, Three on the Bund was joined by seventeen outstanding high school students from the Huangpu District for one day’s training in which they gain practical experience working in the progressive lifestyle company located on the Bund.

"A Practical Job", the program’s name is a joint Huangpu and Three on the Bund initiative aimed at giving students more exposure to real work experience. "The seventeen students will each be allocated to a different department ranging from the restaurants, spa, gallery or support departments. They will assume the responsibility of working side by side our colleagues for a whole day" says Alan Hepburn, Managing Director of Three on the Bund. He further explains, "we hope this real life experience will provide the students with a more informed and balanced view of the service industry and give them a deeper understanding of what it takes to be a service industry professional in Shanghai’s competitive market place".
