Heritage with Love’ 2009 Qiang Embroidery Aid Action Opening Ceremony


On Thursday, 23rd July, Lohas Magazine and the One Foundation held the ‘Heritage with Love’ 2009 Qiang Embroidery Aid Action Opening Ceremony. Three on the Bund sponsored the venue and refreshments (catered by Laris). The event’s purpose was to draw awareness to the Qiang Embroidery Group in Sichuan and involved traditional music performances, a crafts display and fashion show. The event was attended by celebrities, Tan Dun and Zhu Zher Qing who at the conclusion of the show treated the audience to an impromptu singing performance.
